Competition Theme
Students are encouraged to write on one of the following themes:
- Innovative Tax Policies: How can new tax policies bridge the SDGs financing gap in Nigeria?
- Inclusive and Sustainable Tax Systems: Examine the impact of tax systems on environmental sustainability, the digital economy, and trade.
- Combatting Illicit Financial Flows: Propose ways to strengthen tax systems to tackle illicit financial flows and contribute to closing the SDGs financing gap.
Prizes
- First Prize: NGN 1,000,000 and a certificate of recognition.
- Second Prize: NGN 750,000 and a certificate of recognition.
- Third Prize: NGN 500,000 and a certificate of recognition.
Eligibility
- Open to all undergraduate students in Nigeria.
- Participants must be enrolled in a recognized Nigerian university or college.
- Submission of both a national ID and a university student ID is required.
Submission Guidelines
- Essay Length: 1,500 to 2,000 words.
- Language: English.
- Format: Typed, double-spaced, and submitted in PDF format.
- Originality: Essays must be original. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
