Position: Administrative Associate (Logistics and Protocol) UNODC
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
The Administrative Associate (Logistics and Protocol) role is situated within the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Country Office in Nigeria (CONIG), Abuja. Reporting to the Operation Manager/Head of the Project Support Unit, this position primarily focuses on providing operational advisory services, including supply chain management, assets management, logistics support, and protocol services.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with relevant Nigerian government entities for protocol-related matters, such as visa processing and custom clearance.
- Assist UNODC CONIG staff, consultants, and visitors with visa and permit applications, ensuring compliance with UN and host country requirements.
- Maintain accountability and tracking mechanisms for assets management procedures.
- Oversee fixed assets register maintenance, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Contribute to upstream and downstream pipeline transport planning and execution.
- Coordinate transportation services and ensure compliance with UN logistics policies.
- Manage airport protocol operations and official correspondence issuance.
- Provide advice on property management policies and procedures.
- Plan and execute logistics transport for office and project operations.

Requirements:
- Education: Secondary Education required; a first-level University Degree in relevant fields preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in protocol procedures, logistics, and assets management. Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and UN Umoja system preferred.
