Requirements for UTME Candidates
UTME Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess WASC/NECO/GCE or equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. Additional departmental and faculty requirements specified in the JAMB brochure must also be fulfilled.
- UTME score is not required for Part-Time Programmes.
- All applicants must meet the academic qualifications outlined in section one of the admission requirements.
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry Candidates should fulfill the following conditions:
- Hold at least two (2) A/Level papers, National Certificate in Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), or equivalent University Diploma (with acceptable pass levels) in relevant areas.
- Possess WASC/NECO/GCE or equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. Additional departmental requirements must also be met.
- Attach photocopies of UTME Direct Entry SLIPS for 2023.
- Submit photocopies of credentials, including O’level certificate and Direct Entry qualification, in a large envelope to the Administrative Secretary, School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo.
- All applicants must submit hard copies of their credentials to the Administrative Secretary, School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo.
