University of Medical Science (UNIMED) Fresh Students Registration Procedure

The University of Medical Science (UNIMED) is excited to announce that the Fresh Students Registration Procedure for the 2024/2025 academic session is now open! This is a warm welcome to all newly admitted students, including UTME and Direct Entry candidates.

This guide provides detailed steps to ensure you complete your registration smoothly and start your academic journey at UNIMED with confidence.

UNIMED Fresh Students’ Registration Steps

To ensure a successful start to your academic journey, follow these steps for registration:

Step 1: Check Admission Status

Visit the UNIMED Admission List Portal to confirm your admission status. If you have been offered admission, you must accept it to proceed.

Step 2: Print JAMB Admission Letter

After accepting your admission, head to the JAMB CAPS Portal to confirm your status. Once confirmed, print your JAMB Admission Letter.

Step 3: Payment of Acceptance Fee

Go to the UNIMED Payment Portal. Click on ‘Make Payment’ to settle the Acceptance Fee using a VISA, Verve, or MASTER Card. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully. After successful payment, generate and print your e-Payment Receipt.

Step 4: Create Account & Fill Registration Forms

Create a student account by selecting ‘Account Creation’ on the portal. Log in with your new account and fill out all required forms. Once completed, download and print four copies of the filled forms.

Step 5: Screening at Academic Affairs Office

Take the four printed forms to the Academic Affairs Office for screening. Also, bring the following documents:

• JAMB Admission Letter
• Original O’ Level/A’ Level/B.Sc Result
• Local Government Attestation Letter
• Birth Certificate
• Letter of Good Conduct from a Reputable Person
• Four passport-sized photographs
• Acceptance Fee Payment Receipts

Step 6: Medical Registration

Once cleared, complete your medical registration at the University Health Centre.

Step 7: Pay School and Accommodation Fees

Make payments for School Fees and, if needed, Accommodation Fees for hostel allocation.

Step 8: Course Registration

Log in to your student account and complete the Course Registration Form. Print four copies once finished.

Step 9: Obtain Endorsements

Submit the Course Registration Form to:

• Departmental Course Coordinator
• Head of the Department
• Dean of Faculty
  Ensure each provides their endorsement on the form.

Step 10: Submit Completed Forms

Finally, submit the endorsed forms to your Faculty Officer.
