The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) calls for applications for admission into the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. This pathway awards a JUPEB certificate, facilitating direct entry into UNN and other JUPEB-affiliated universities both in Nigeria and abroad.
Eligibility:
Candidates need a minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings.
Duration: The JUPEB programme spans one academic session, divided into two semesters.

Application Procedure:
Payment:
- Pay the ?20,000.00 application fee via the Remita payment platform at any bank.
- Obtain a payment invoice containing a Remita number. This invoice allows bank payment (bank charges apply).
Application:
- Visit the UNN Portal.
- Click on "Generate Payment Invoice" under JUPEB.
- Input your telephone number and click “Submit”.
- Provide your Surname, First name, and Middle name, then click “Submit”.
- Print the invoice and make payment at the bank.
- After payment, revisit the portal.
- Select “Fill Joint Universities Preliminary Admissions Board programme”.
- Enter the Remita number and click “Submit”.
- Complete the form, attaching a recent passport photograph (color, white background, not older than 3 months, and not exceeding 100KB).
- Submit the form and print the acknowledgment slip.
Note: All applications and payments must be made online through the UNN portal using Remita.
General Information:
- Regularly visit the UNN website and check email for updates.
- Register for the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry at the appropriate time.
- Submit forms online immediately or within two weeks of accessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies will be accepted.
- Follow application instructions diligently to ensure correct subject combinations selection.
