The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is now accepting applications for the Post-UTME screening for the 2024/2025 academic session. If you chose UNIPORT as your first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 160, you are eligible to apply.

Eligibility for UNIPORT Post-UTME
Candidates must have selected UNIPORT as their first choice in the 2024 UTME and achieved a minimum score of 160.
How to Apply
- Visit the University Website: Go to the UNIPORT Post-UTME registration page and follow the instructions.
- Enter UTME Details: Input your UTME Registration Number and verify your pre-loaded UTME details.
- Generate Remita Code: Pay the N2,000 fee using your MasterCard, Visa, or Verve Card, or print the payment slip and pay at any bank via the Remita platform (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, or UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK).
- Obtain Remita Receipt: Get a receipt showing an Access Code from the bank teller.
- Log In Again: From 24th July 2024, log in with your UTME Registration Number and Access Code.
- Complete the Form: Fill out the online form. If you are awaiting O’Level results, indicate this on the form.
- Submit and Print: Click “submit” and print the registration slip for the screening exercise.
Post-UTME Screening Schedule
The screening details and schedule will be published on the UNIPORT website. Check regularly for updates.
Important Notes
- Consistency: Ensure all personal details on O’Level certificates, UTME results, and registration documents match to avoid disqualification.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by October 2024.
- Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and similar devices are not permitted at the screening venue.
- Registration Deadline: Register by 16th August 2024; the online registration link will be disabled after this date.
- Physical Presence: No need for physical presence on campus during registration.
- Second Choice Candidates: If UNIPORT is your second choice, change it to your first choice to apply.
- O’Level Results: Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website promptly.
- Contact Details: Use valid personal phone numbers and email addresses for registration.
- Screening Attendance: Attend the screening at designated venues or risk disqualification.
- Campus Access: Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed on campus during the screening.
