The scholarship caters to applicants with relevant Bachelor’s Degrees from recognized universities in various disciplines, including but not limited to:

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the NDDC Postgraduate Scholarships:
- Applicants must hail from the Niger Delta region.
- Age limit: Must not exceed 40 years.
- Academic requirement: Hold a First Class Degree or a Second Class Upper/Lower Division.
How to Apply:
Applications are exclusively online through the NDDC official website. Required documents include:
- Recent passport photograph
- Local Government identification letter
- Postgraduate admission letter from a recognized overseas university
- Relevant degrees from recognized universities
- NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate
Upon application completion, a registration number will be provided, and applicants should retain a hard copy of the acknowledgment for future reference.
Selection Process:
- Initial Application: Apply online through the official portal.
- Preliminary Shortlisting: Based on WASSCE/NECO results, local government identification, and undergraduate degree classification.
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): Shortlisted candidates undergo a CBT in Rivers State, requiring a minimum score of 70% to proceed.
- Further Shortlisting and Final Verification: Includes checks through the Local Government Area (LGA) and Community Development Committee (CDC).
