Vinicius Junior Extends Real Madrid Contract Until 2027
Vinicius Junior, a star in Brazilian football, has committed to Real Madrid till June 30, 2027. This information was released soon after he was presented with the Socrates Award at the 2023 Ballon d'Or.
In a £38 million deal that year, the 18-year-old winger, who is also considered as the sixth best player in the world, left Flamengo to join Real Madrid.
Vinicius has scored 64 goals in 248 games while playing for Real Madrid, helping the team win nine championships, including the 2022 Champions League.
In addition, his efforts were crucial to Madrid's triumphs in the Copa Del Rey, the European Super Cup, two Club World Cups, and two Spanish Super Cups.
Beyond the field of football, Vinicius Junior won the coveted Socrates Award at the 2023 Ballon d'Or for founding a foundation that funds the building of schools in Brazil's impoverished areas.
The gifted Brazilian winger tweeted his happiness after his contract was extended, writing, "Hello Madrid supporters, I'm thrilled to get my contract renewed.
