Job Objective
The primary objective of this role is to ensure efficient warehouse management practices, minimize inventory loss, and maintain high standards for product storage and handling. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a critical role in aligning warehouse operations with standard procedures, supporting operational goals, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of warehouse management. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Establishing Warehouse Management Systems:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and warehouse practices such as sanitation, pest control, traceability, storage conditions, internal audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure full compliance with Promasidor's safety and quality policies.

Operational Monitoring:
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure adherence to maintenance plans, optimize material handling equipment uptime, and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all warehouse transactions (stock issuance, receipts, transfers, and returns) are properly documented and accounted for.

Storage and Layout Management:
- Develop strategies to monitor storage usage levels and ensure effective space utilization.
- Review and improve the quality and efficiency of warehouse layouts and storage systems.

Managing Container Receipts:
- Oversee container receipt processes from both local and port suppliers, ensuring smooth offloading and storage operations.
- Provide effective leadership and resolve any operational conflicts to ensure the smooth running of warehouse activities.

Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Create and manage daily checklists for the monitoring and control of equipment, such as forklifts.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) for stock usage, and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) when required.

Audit and Compliance:
- Participate in audits, ensuring any gaps identified are addressed and closed promptly.
- Maintain effective feedback loops with Planning and Shipping Departments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely monitoring.

Performance Management:
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
- Ensure that daily targets for deliveries to production factories are consistently met.

Third-party Logistics and Operations Management:
- Manage relationships with inbound third-party transporters to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise remote warehouse locations and manage logistics operations on-site.

Personnel Development:
- Implement training programs to optimize warehouse space and improve operational efficiency.
- Promote personnel development through strategic orientation and capacity-building efforts.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Logistics or Supply Chain Directorate.
- Contribute to food safety efforts as delegated by the Food Safety Team Leader or Head of Department.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Required:
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, or Basic Sciences.
- At least 7 years of work experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics management, preferably in a reputable FMCG organization.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Membership in relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
Knowledge and Skills

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics operations, inventory management, and quality control.
- Familiarity with inventory management software (NAV) and basic palletizing/block stacking techniques.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
