Schedule: Full-Time
Description:
- Conduct physical and cycle counts of inventory as per defined frequency.
- Coordinate with Buyers to ensure suppliers have updated contracts and negotiate changes proposed from an MTN perspective.
- Drive stock counts (cycle or physical) as per statutory requirements.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure equipment operates effectively by enforcing operating instructions.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness according to storage design principles.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise warehouse activities and ensure compliance with warehousing guidelines.
- Identify process enhancements to improve business turnaround time.
- Assist with queries from internal/external auditors.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and ensure correct stock placement.
- Ensure inbound stock is adequately insured against theft/losses.
- Oversee activities related to lots, batches, serials, and consigned inventory.
- Handle escalated issues from Warehouse Administrator.
- Ensure timely handling of stock transfer, dispatch requests, etc.
- Demarcate warehouse areas (receiving, dispatch, staging, etc.).
- Generate shortage lists and expedite material delivery.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and document reasons for shortages.
- Monitor warehouse personnel performance.
- Resolve issues related to damage or wear while moving components.
- Plan kitting schedule considering stock availability and production plan.
- Generate pick lists based on Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements.
Requirements:
Education:
- First Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related discipline.
- Fluent in English.
Experience:
- 3 – 7 years’ experience, including:
- Experience in a medium to large organization.
- Knowledge of customer order fulfillment, delivery, and availability determination.
- Understanding of order booking, tracking, and monitoring processes.
- Familiarity with customer database management principles.
