Job Overview
As a Web Designer at LD&D Consulting, you will be tasked with creating visually captivating and highly functional websites tailored to meet client objectives. This role demands a perfect blend of creativity, technical expertise, and an up-to-date knowledge of the latest web design trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites ensuring optimal user experience across all devices.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and the creative team to gather project requirements and deliver outstanding web designs.
- Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and search engine visibility.
- Conduct usability testing, collect feedback, and iteratively improve designs.
- Stay abreast of the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our designs innovative.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues and bugs promptly.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Implement and customize designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
Requirements
- Certification in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Web Designer, ideally within an advertising agency or a similar setting.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects and demonstrating diverse design styles and technical skills.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Keen attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Sketch.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with motion graphics and animation using tools like After Effects.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of server-side languages such as PHP, Ruby, or Python.
