Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement responsive, user-friendly frontend UI/UX designs to ensure seamless experiences across all devices and screen sizes.

• Convert design mockups into high-quality, pixel-perfect HTML, CSS, and JavaScript implementations.

• Ensure web accessibility by adhering to WCAG guidelines and industry best practices.

• Optimize website performance and speed through efficient coding, lazy loading, and caching strategies.

• Implement and manage secure payment gateway integrations for seamless transactions.

• Conduct cross-browser testing to guarantee consistency across multiple platforms and devices.

• Stay updated with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance development efficiency.

• Develop interactive and dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks like Alpine.js, React, or Vue.js.

• Ensure all websites follow technical SEO best practices, including structured data, meta tags, and page speed optimization.

• Work with APIs and basic backend functionalities to support frontend development.

• Troubleshoot and debug performance issues to enhance website efficiency and user experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of semantic markup and modern styling techniques.

• Experience in technical SEO, including site speed optimization and structured data implementation.

• Knowledge of payment gateway integration and secure transaction handling.

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems and modern development workflows.

• Ability to integrate APIs and manage light backend development for seamless frontend functionality.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Expertise in responsive design and web accessibility, ensuring all users have an optimal browsing experience.

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Alpine.js, React, or Vue.js.
